Fried foods can really mess you up. I know; I worked as a shift manager at Arby's for five years. I haven't heard too much about oil allergy, but a lot of times the restaurants will use the same oil for all their fried products. So, it may be that the wings you ate were cross contaminated with something you are allergic to. I read this at http://www.lpch.org/DiseaseHealthInfo/HealthLibrary/allergy/foods.html
"Avoid fried foods, as the same oil may be used to fry several different foods." Even that little bit of something you may be allergic to, can get on the food you are eating. Do you have any known allergies?

You know, I've been sitting here working for the past hour and a half, thinking all the while about how hungry I am but not really wanting to interrupt my work because it's nearly bedtime (bet you know how that is). Then I see this post (which is just great, by the way), and my mouth started watering, and so now I'm going to have to go make ham salad from my leftover ham. Yummy! Thanks for the idea.

If you want some easy, quick recipes, visit my website http://www.marthaskitchenkorner.com
I write cookbooks taking cooking back to the basics. All recipes use common ingredients found in most kitchens. I think you will find a few you might enjoy.

I love ramen noodles boiled with bok choy, napa cabbage, peas and diced ham. All I do is add lemon and sometimes butter. Yummy!!! I think I may try your recipe too.

Truly, baking is not just one healthy way of cooking that delivers more than satisfactory flavors and aroma. It does not diminish the aesthetic appeal of the food. But my problem is, it consumes energy more than other cooking methods.

Happy cooking always!
